But Ford doesn’t just want to get much better at offering electric vehicles. In addition, the automaker plans to create 6000 new jobs to help with the goal. 6000 new jobs thanks to a shift in thinking to green alternatives to current vehicle powertrain: by moving to electric vehicles and battery manufacturing.
Of course, it all has to happen somewhere. And for this, Ford is currently planning the construction of “Blue Oval City”. This blue (or should we say “green”) city can now even be found on Google. At least the future location, which will be in Stanton, Tennesse. And this is only one location, also in Kentucky such a production facility shall be built.
Why green? Well, green energy will be pushed. But above all, this should be done in a green way – as you can see on renderings of the Blue Oval City, large PV areas are planned. After all, the blue city is designed with the goal that it will be carbon neutral.
