Two identical roofs can need very different systems. We start from your actual electric usage and your utility's current rates, and we confirm both with you, so the design fits your home rather than an average.

We size for what's ahead, whether that's an EV, a heat pump, or a growing household. We also won't oversize the system and have you paying for panels you don't need. The NY State 25% solar tax credit (up to $5,000 when eligible) is factored in from the start.

Who designs the system?
IGS in-house engineers. Our founders were engineering solar panels back in 1999, and every IGS design today is modeled from your usage and your utility's actual rates.
Who installs it?
Our own crews, employed and trained by IGS, never subcontractors. We hold installer certifications for the equipment we put on homes, including Enphase, SolarEdge, and Tesla.
What does submitting this form start?
A phone call from our local office. We go over what you're looking for and, if it makes sense, set a time for our energy advisor to visit your home. Nothing is scheduled without you.
What if my roof is not a good fit for solar?
IGS will tell you directly. The right answer may be roof work first, a different solar approach, or no solar project.
What does a system cost?
It depends. Size, equipment, and your roof drive the price, so we won't invent a number before the review. You'll see line-item pricing before any decision, and financing can be part of that conversation.
Can financing be reviewed with the quote?
Yes. Current Concert Finance options can be reviewed with a detailed quote. Eligibility and terms depend on credit review and current program availability.
