Over 1,000 residential installations across Upstate New York.
Inhouse-installed PV with 30-year panel warranty. NY State 25% solar tax credit up to $5,000. Concert financing available for qualified homeowners. Design handles battery-ready, EV-charging, or heat-pump-adjacent sizing.
Mini-split, ducted, or hydronic — IGS installs all three (Mitsubishi, Samsung, Bosch). NY Clean Heat rebates up to $11,000+ for qualifying decommission + DAC zones. EFS financing available with qualifying credit.
Geothermal, generators, panel upgrades, and roofing — we coordinate the sequence so rebates, electrical capacity, and roof work line up. Geothermal qualifies for the largest NY Clean Heat rebate tier.
NYSERDA Clean Heat rebates (HP / geo), NY State 25% solar tax credit up to $5,000, and local utility programs. We tell you exactly what you qualify for.
NYSERDA Clean Heat Program · NY State Dept of TaxationSolar financing via Concert for qualified homeowners. Heat pump and geothermal financing via EFS. Terms and APR depend on credit review. Low or no money down available with qualifying credit.
Concert (solar) and EFS (HP/geo) — IGS's authorized financing partnersWhen you bundle services, the design sequences properly — panel-upgrade timing, roof-before-solar, heat-pump sizing with solar offset. One in-house team means no handoff gaps or scheduling conflicts.
IGS operationsA clear, no-pressure process from first call to final activation.
We listen first. What you want to improve, your budget, your timeline, whether this is one project or a phased multi-year plan. Walk the home. Check existing systems and electrical service.
Our engineering team designs the system(s) that fit — load calc, PV sizing, panel-upgrade planning if needed. You get a single proposal with every rebate and financing option applied.
We handle NYSERDA, utility, and permit paperwork across all services. Single point of contact, not a separate submission per trade.
Roofing first if applicable. Electrical panel upgrade if needed. Solar + HP + geo installed in the right order. Commissioning and walkthrough included.
No pressure. If the right answer is one service, we'll say so. If a project should be phased over two years, we'll show you why.
Reviews from real IGS customers across Upstate NY.
“We did heat pumps and solar with IGS in the same year. The coordination was the best part — one team, one contact, one proposal. The heat bill dropped dramatically and the electric is handled by the solar.”
“IGS designed it so the generator handles the house when the grid goes out, and the solar runs things normally. The design conversation was great — they drew it on a whiteboard and walked us through every option.”
“Older farmhouse. We needed the panel upgraded to handle geothermal. IGS sequenced the electrical first, then the geo. Clean install, no scheduling gaps between trades.”
Can IGS do more than one service in the same project?
Yes — solar, heat pumps, geothermal, generators, roofing, and electrical are all installed in-house. Bundled projects usually sequence better (roof-before-solar, panel-before-HP) and can unlock cross-financing through Concert up to 45% non-solar work alongside a solar project.
What rebates are available?
It depends on which services you're doing. Heat pumps and geothermal have NYSERDA Clean Heat rebates (up to $11,000+ for HP decommission / higher for geothermal in DAC zones). Solar qualifies for the NY State 25% solar tax credit up to $5,000. We identify every credit and rebate you qualify for in the proposal.
How does financing work across different services?
Solar financing goes through Concert. Heat pumps and geothermal go through EFS. Terms and APR depend on credit review. When solar is part of the project, Concert allows bundling non-solar work up to 45% of project value.
Do I have to do everything at once?
No. A lot of our customers phase work over 1–3 years. The design conversation maps out the right sequence — for example, roofing before solar, electrical panel before heat pumps — so later phases don't require redo work.
Does IGS work with NY Clean Heat rebates?
Yes — IGS is enrolled in the NY Clean Heat program for heat pumps and geothermal. Qualifying homeowners can receive rebates up to $11,000+ for heat pump installs and higher for geothermal, depending on utility territory and project scope. For solar, customers claim the NY State 25% solar tax credit (up to $5,000). We identify every rebate you qualify for in the proposal.
Do you do subcontracting or is everything in-house?
Design, engineering, and installation of solar, heat pumps, geothermal, generators, and electrical are all IGS in-house. Roofing is also in-house. One team, one accountability.
What's the warranty situation?
Solar panels carry a 30-year manufacturer warranty. Heat pumps and geothermal carry 10–12 year compressor warranties depending on brand. Generators follow manufacturer warranty (typically 5 years). IGS provides a separate workmanship warranty on every install.
One consultation, one local team, every rebate identified. Let's talk through what you want to improve.
